The world’s largest artificial surf park is coming to Abu Dhabi

And it’s right here on Hudayriyat Island

The UAE capital is forging ahead with its vision of becoming the IT place on the global map.

And the master plan for Hudayriyat Island has unveiled some major treats for residents and tourists alike!

By the end of this year, Modon Properties will have successfully built Surf Abu Dhabi, reportedly the biggest and most advanced artificial wave facility in the world.

Designed in partnership with Kelly Slater Wave Co., the landmark destination will offer a high-performance surfing experience and a lot of firsts for the emirate and the world.

You can get the adrenaline going on the world’s longest ride, biggest barrel, and most excitingly, the largest man-made wave pool.

From beginners to pro-surfers, the complex will be perfect for everyone, and could also host major international events.

Additionally, there are plenty of other exciting projects we’re going to get to enjoy very soon! Scheduled to launch in 2025, Velodrome Abu Dhabi will feature the first UCI Category 1 indoor cycling track in the region, suitable for international championships.

And of course, one can’t ignore the largest urban park!

Spanning over 2.25 million square meters, the nature-centric project will be a haven for adventures and outdoor encounters. From an elevated cycling track to an eco-tourism platform and even a Mangrove Walk, keep an eye out for what’s going to be green goals!

Adding 53.5km of coastline to the city’s landscape, including 16km of beaches, Abu Dhabi’s position as a world-class lifestyle destination has never been more real.
