There is even more reason to head to the world headline-grabbing Louvre Abu Dhabi where a raft of all-new acquisitions and loans that span the globe and nearly 25 centuries await. The newly acquired pieces include the works of world-renowned artist Marc Chagall, and The Centre Pompidou has also loaned pieces from Henri Matisse and Francis Bacon. There is also a massive collection of historical artefacts and so much more than you could ever see in just one visit. For opening times visit

Discover how the ruling family and the community lived until the country’s transformation. The most visited section of the museum is the room that was devoted to teaching the palace residents the Holy Quran, with Hadith, that comprises the teachings and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), inscribed on the ceiling. For opening times, go to

Museum of Illusions

It is just an illusion, or is it?  We suggest you head to Dubai and find out. Get set for a mind-boggling time by some amazing perception-distorting puzzles, optical trickery and bizarre sensory experiences at this museum located in Dubai’s Al Seef district. Enter the Vortex Tunnel, the first of its kind in the UAE, where your mind will be tested. The Infinity Room promises a whole lot of fun, get to defy the laws of gravity in the Anti-Gravity Room and turn your world upside down in the Rotated Room. For opening times, visit

Dubai’s next cultural landmark, the striking The Museum of the Future, is almost complete and set to open this year. Once open, it will be dedicated to exploring the threats and opportunities of our time, for a better future, no less.
