Competition Entry Terms & Conditions

  • By entering the competition, you agree to the provisions of these terms and conditions and to comply fully with them.
  • The winner(s) must respond within 48 hours to our message or we reserve the right to select a new winner.
  • Open to UAE residents only.
  • The shopping voucher can only be redeemed at Abu Dhabi Mall.
  • The competition draw will take place on a monthly basis with the draw taking place on the 1st of each month and includes entrances who signed up from the 1st to the end of the previous month.
  • The first draw will take place on 1 August 2023.
  • You can only enter the competition once.
  • The winner will be announced on Yalla social channels.
  • There is no fee to enter the competition.
  • The organisers cannot be held responsible for emails that do not arrive due to the entrant’s email security settings or restrictions placed by their Internet service provider.
  • We will keep your email details on our secure database to enable us to send you information about any annual competition and other information, newsletters about Phoenix Media & Publications FZ LLC. We value your support and will not pass on information about you to any group or individual outside Phoenix Media & Publications FZ LLC.
  • The prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred by you and cannot be redeemed by you for cash or any other prize.
  • The organisers retain the right to substitute the prizes with another prize of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.
  • It is the winner’s responsibility to collect the shopping voucher at a time and place as dictated by the organiser.
  • The voucher is valid for one year from date of issue.
  • The voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full and is valid for a single transaction only.
  • The voucher is not applicable for online purchase.
  • The organisers are not responsible if the voucher is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
  • The voucher cannot be redeemed in order to purchase another voucher.
  • During the redemption of goods, if the value of the goods exceeds the amount stated in voucher, the different thereof should be paid by the bearer.
  • Phoenix Media & Publications FZ LLC reserves the right to vary/amend the privileges or terms & conditions without prior notice.
  • Phoenix Media & Publications FZ LLC reserves the right to reject any voucher that has been tampered with or found in any way unacceptable.
  • Any breach of these terms by an entrant will void their entry.
  • If a breach has occurred but is discovered after the award of a prize, then the organisers may require the return of that prize.
  • You agree that if you are a winner, you will take part in and cooperate fully with reasonable publicity and to the use of your name and photograph in such publicity, for example, the publication of photograph(s) with your name in Yalla Abu Dhabi Life Magazine and other platforms of the organisers.
  • The organisers reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud).
  • The decision of the organisers in all matters relating to the Competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The organisers shall not be liable for any failure to comply with their obligations relating to this Competition where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with UAE Law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in UAE.
  • The Promoter of the Competition is Phoenix Media & Publications FZ LLC and Abu Dhabi Mall whose addresses are Phoenix Media & Publications FZ LLC,  Unit C40-P1-0125, Podium 1, Yas Creative Hub, Yas Bay, Abu Dhabi.
  • Any complaints regarding the Competition should be sent to this address.
