The Special Olympics UAE is one of the most inclusive events in the region, and is now almost here!
A key focus of this initiative is the athlete’s wellbeing, this programme include large-scale health screenings throughout the entirety of the event and is made possible by Healthy Athletes® Initiatives and ADNOC, supported by 29 clinical directors and more than 400 volunteers and healthcare professionals.
The Special Olympic Games aim to expand the opportunities for sport inclusivity, building on the success of the inaugural UAE GAmes.
The competitions will be hosted at venues including ADNEC Abu Dhabi, Zayed Sports City and various locations across the country.
Commitment to inclusivity, support and strengthening the visibility for People of Determination across the UAE is an essential theme of the event.
