Expect serious dunes and plenty of adrenaline
The Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge is returning for its fourth season, with four rounds of desert racing taking place across the emirate.
The season kicks off at Tilal Sweihan on 17 October, before heading to Liwa in Al Dhafra Region for the next rounds on 12 to 13 December and 23 January 2027.
The championship wraps up in the Al Ain desert on 10 April 2027. Each round covers more than 100km, with laps of around 25 km and the fastest competitors expected to finish in roughly two hours.
Open to both professionals and amateurs, the challenge gives emerging races the chance to compete alongside experienced desert drivers and riders.
Prizes are awarded to round winners, last season saw more than 380 entries across four rounds, representing over 20 nationalities.
