Abu Dhabi’s rich history, brought to life through books
Visit Abu Dhabi Culture Pavilion at Abu Dhabi International Book Fair this September 2026.
Discover a selection of publications exploring the UAE’s culture, heritage and creative legacy. At the heart of the display is Archives of Tomorrow: Abu Dhabi’s Modern Heritage, a photographic volume documenting the city’s architectural history and the preservation of its defining structures.
A QR code displayed alongside the title invites visitors to register their details and join the waiting list to purchase the book once published.
Also on display is Birth of a Collection, a landmark volume celebrating ten years of the Louvre Abu Dhabi collection through a selection of works from its holdings.
The Pavilion also presents a new six-volume edition of Yaqut al-Hamawi’s Mu’jam Al-Buldan, featuring at least 15,000 entries from the 13th century geographical encyclopaedia.
Alongside it, Mawsu’at Nawadir Al-Makhtutat fi Al-Khafiqayn offers a look into rare Arab and Islamic manuscripts.
Together, these publications reflect the Abu Dhabi Culture Pavilion’s programme of panels and talks, within a fair spanning nine interconnected interactive areas and a programme of many global speakers.
Visit the Abu Dhabi Culture Pavilion at ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi Stand number AT- 20 from 13 to 18 September.
