Inspired by an ancient Sufi myth, Songs of the Bulbul tells of a bird whose captivity deepens its sorrow, yet whose final moments produce a song of unparalleled sweetness.

It is a tale of sacrifice and release, exploring the freedom that can only be found when the material world’s constraints fall away.
