Two decades of boundary-pushing contemporary art land in Abu Dhabi

Shezad Dawood: Skin of Dreams brings the artist’s first mid-career retrospective to Abu Dhabi, showcasing over two decades of creative exploration.

Curated by Jessica Cerasi, the exhibition presents more than 40 works spanning painting, sculpture, film installation and interactive virtual reality experience.

Dawood’s practice connects history, literature, architecture, music, science and technology to create unexpected worlds and new ways of seeing.

Visitors are invited into an evolving universe where research meets imagination and reality shifts into something more speculative.

Running till 20 September, this free exhibition offers a rare look to one of contemporary art’s most inventive voices.
