Mande Maqamāt by Yahael Camara Onono is bringing the audiences into a symphonic collaboration of vast musical landscapes of West Africa and the Gulf music.
Yahael Camara Onono is a well-decorated West African percussionist that will transform The Black Box at The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi, into a glorious exploration of melodies. Yahael is joined by a talented group of musicians across the regions.
This musical experience features Yahael on Djembe, Makan Camara on Mande Guitar, Mohamad Abozekry on Oud, Opoku Sanaa on Bass, Hadi Darbouka on Arabic percussion and Claude Cozens on Drums.
