A new sensory experience invites visitors to become part of a hidden dialogue between humans and algorithms
Dr. Ahmad AlAttar’s Human in the Loop arrives at Abu Dhabi’s 421 Arts Campus as an interactive sound installation exploring the relationship between people and technology.
Running from 21 June to 13 September 2026, the free exhibition invites visitors to navigate a field of hanging ropes through sound, movement and curiosity.
Each interaction triggers subtle audio responses, revealing patterns hidden within the installation’s algorithmic system.
What begins as a playful search gradually becomes a study of attention, behaviour and our connection with technology.
Inspired by the AI concept of “human in the loop,” the work places visitors at the centre of the system they are interacting with.
As participants listen, adjust and respond, they become both the observer and the driving force behind the experience.
Presented as part of the 421 Artistic Development Program, the exhibition offers a thoughtful look at how technology shapes the way we engage with the world.
