Zayed National Museum has just unveiled three Emirati-owned garden cafés, and they’re tucked inside the beautiful Al Masar Garden, meaning you can drop in for coffee, gelato, or baked treats without needing a museum ticket.
Set between the Saadiyat coastline, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and the Natural History Museum, these cafés blend culture, creativity, and seriously good food in one lush, open-air setting.
RUKN
First up is RUKN, a modern cultural sanctuary that feels like a pause button in the middle of the city.
Drawing inspiration from the UAE, the Gulf, and North Africa, RUKN celebrates Arabic cuisine and specialty teas through thoughtful design, rich flavours, and storytelling.

Savor by Twins
Yes, gelato, but make it Emirati. Savor by Twins, created by Emirati twin chefs Maitha and Abdulrahman Al Hashmi, reinvents Italian gelato using locally inspired flavours.
Every scoop is handcrafted, refined, and packed with personality, offering a fresh take on dessert that feels both familiar and exciting. This one’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
Sidra Artisan
Inspired by the Sidr tree, a symbol of generosity and deep roots in Emirati culture, Sidra Artisan is led by Emirati chef Faisal Al Harmoodi.
