Gamers, assemble. If you’re looking for the ultimate way to escape the summer heat without putting down the controller, the Yas Gaming Festival at Yas Mall is the answer.
Returning for its fifth edition from 31 July to 9 August, the event taking over Town Square once again, but this year it’s levelling up in a big way.
Forget a few gaming stations dotted around the mall – 2026’s edition has been transformed into a Multiverse of Gaming Worlds, creating an immersive playground where every type of gamer can find their next adventure.
What can you expect at the Yas Gaming Festival?
The festival is packed with dedicated gaming zones featuring PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC gaming, racing simulators, arcade machines, air hockey and interactive experiences, meaning there’s something for casual players and competitive gamers alike.
The Gaming Arena will be open daily from 10am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday and 10am until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, giving visitors plenty of time to explore every corner of the action.
For those with a competitive streak, Yas Gaming Festival is also hosting esports tournaments across some of the world’s most popular titles.

Cosplay fans will have their chance to shine during the festival’s hugely popular cosplay competitions on Saturday 1 August and Saturday 8 August from 6.30pm to 9pm.
There will be incredible costumes inspired by video games, anime, comics and blockbuster movies, alongside stage showcases and dance battles, with Aldar Gift Cards up for grabs for the standout performers.
