The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, one of Asia’s top international orchestras, will perform in the UAE for the first time.
This prestigious ensemble has graced the most renowned concert halls worldwide and now brings its exceptional artistry to Abu Dhabi.
Star performers
Korean American violinist Sarah Chang, a child prodigy who debuted at age eight under Zubin Mehta, will join the orchestra.
Renowned for her virtuosity and emotional depth, Chang will captivate audiences with her performance of Sibelius’ Violin Concerto in D minor.
Under the direction of Jaap van Zweden, the orchestra will also present Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 in D minor.
This symphony, premiered in 1937, is a powerful narrative of personal growth and triumph, portrayed through four dynamic movements.
