Simba Nursery is dedicated to delivering high-quality early years education through experienced educators, carefully selected resources and a safe, compassionate environment where every child can flourish. Following the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, the nursery supports children from birth to five years through a play-based approach that recognises each child as a capable, creative and knowledgeable individual. Individual assessments, learning goals and carefully planned activities ensure that children with different learning styles are given meaningful opportunities to develop at their own pace. The curriculum supports seven interconnected areas of learning, including Understanding the World, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication, Language and Literacy, Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy, and Creative Development. Children are encouraged to explore their surroundings, communicate their ideas, develop early literacy and numeracy skills, make healthy choices and express themselves through art, music, movement, dance and imaginative play. Play and exploration are central to the nursery’s approach, giving children opportunities to make choices, experiment with their senses, solve problems, develop new skills and follow their individual interests. Through collaborative play, children learn to negotiate, share ideas, build relationships, work as a team and develop confidence when approaching new challenges. Simba Nursery also values reciprocal learning between children and adults, recognising the importance of positive relationships and meaningful interactions in supporting development. Its commitment extends beyond the nursery, with strong engagement with parents and the wider community to create a supportive network around every child’s learning journey. By combining personalised learning, purposeful play, experienced staff and compassionate care, Simba Nursery aims to provide every child with a strong foundation for lifelong learning, confidence and personal growth.
