Three-day training camp launches to identify and develop the next generation of Emirati cycling talent

ADNOC, UAE Team Emirates are behind the Accelerator Programme.

A new three-day training camp is offering the chance for promising Emirati cyclists to be part of ADNOC Accelerator Programme that aims to identify and develop the next generation of Emirati cycling talent.

ADNOC, in partnership with the UAE Team Emirates, is behind the programme.

The cyclists will be given the opportunity to train under the UAE Team Emirates’ high-performance coaching staff and to compete alongside the two-time Tour de France winning team.

The ADNOC Accelerator Programme will test and measure the participants’ fitness and mental capabilities through a series of competitive scenarios to ultimately produce a group of elite cyclers, who will go on to race alongside the UAE Team Emirates riders in a road-race to Al Wathba, to determine who will be the ultimate winner.

The winner will be invited to join a year-long development programme with the UAE Team Emirates, underwritten by ADNOC, the opportunity to attend official training camps throughout 2023, starting with a 10-day winter camp in Spain this December.
