Four-day weekend for private sector workers for National Day

Work to resume on 5 December.

Public sector workers will enjoy a four-day weekend to mark Commemoration Day and the country’s 50^th National Day celebrations.

The announcement made today (24 November) by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources sees employees granted leave from Wednesday 1 December to Friday 3 December.

Official working hours will resume on Sunday 5 December.

The news means those working in the public sector will enjoy four days to celebrate and revel in the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.

An announcement regarding private sector holidays for National Day has yet to be made.
