Capacity for indoor events in Abu Dhabi increased

Indoors wedding attendances will also increase.

Capacity for indoor events in Abu Dhabi has been increased to 80 per cent it has announced.

The news comes after The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee updated its protocols surrounding indoor and outdoor activations and weddings.

 

 

Attendees at all indoor events will be required to present a negative PCR test on their Al Hosn app taken within 96 hours of the event to gain entry as well as undergo an EDE scan via hand-held device and wear a mask at all times.

For weddings, capacity has been increased to 60 per cent and the number of guests should not exceed 100 for indoor halls, 300 for open-air weddings and 60 for weddings hosted at home.

The news follows hot on the heels of the UAE prohibiting the arrival of travellers from seven African countries.

The countries are Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
