Abu Dhabi event-goers must have PCR Test 48 hours beforehand

People must register their details too just in case of any emergency.

People attending business and entertainment events are to have COVID-19 PCR test 48 hours prior to attending the actual event.

The updated circular issued by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi)  also stated that staff and event organisers in the emirate must also undergo the test every week.

Venue staff and contractors must also install the Al Hosn App and all visitors, exhibitors and delegates will need to complete registration forms with their contact details in case of any  emergencies.

Capacities have also been set, with business events limited to 50 per cent, while entertainment events are restricted to 30 per cent.

Tourism outlets, hotels and events will be inspected regularly to verify compliance, according to DCT Abu Dhabi.

Team Yalla recently reported that a number of schools had once again closed their doors in Abu Dhabi and another had restricted some classes due to COVID-19.
