Italy’s youngest Michelin-Starred chef, Solaika Marrocco, will join Chef de Cuisine Luigi Stinga for an exclusive six-hands dinner
Recently named amongst MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants, and having retained one Michelin-Star for two consecutive years, Talea by Antonio Guida celebrates its second anniversary this March.
To mark the occasion, the exceptional restaurant’s namesake and Italy’s youngest Michelin-Starred chef, Solaika Marrocco, will join Chef de Cuisine Luigi Stinga for an exclusive six-hands dinner.
Over the course of three evenings, from 1 to 3 March, Talea’s anniversary dinner will transport guests on a gastronomic journey across Italy.
The three world-renowned chefs from Puglia, Lecca and the Amalfi Coast have united in Abu Dhabi to design an exclusive five-course set menu featuring lobster, sea bass and tiramisu served tableside.
Located in the resplendent Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, the opening of Talea in 2022 marked Chef Antonio Guida’s first restaurant outside of Italy.

His approach towards understated Italian sophistication, offering guests simple but exhilarating flavours, quickly earned Talea its first Michelin Star – which has been retained ever since. Evolving seasonal menus reinterpret traditional dishes, drawing on his distinctive ‘Cucina di Famiglia’ style of cooking.
As the chef de cuisine of Talea by Antonio Guida, Chef Luigi Stinga has been praised by the Michelin Guide for his eye for detail, impeccable style, generous approach and natural confidence. He is the proud recipient of the inaugural Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi’s Young Chef Award and has worked together with Antonio Guida for almost a decade.
Joining them for the first time in Abu Dhabi is Chef Solaika Marrocco, who lends a youthful yet determined female voice from Primo Restaurant in Lecce.
Guests will have the opportunity to discover her signature dishes including handmade ravioli with anchovies and saffron butter sauce. The exquisite dinner will be served on Talea’s serene seaside terrace, replete with expansive views of the Palace lawns as well as live Italian music.
Chef Luigi Stinga commented: “2024 represents a landslide victory for Talea as we have been selected amongst MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants and bestowed with a Michelin Star for the second year running. Coinciding with our second anniversary, these significant milestones deserve to be celebrated – and what better way to celebrate than through food?”
“This six-hands dinner is the perfect way to thank our guests for their ongoing support in Abu Dhabi, bringing Michelin-starred chefs together to present the best of Italy on five unique plates.”
