If you are a fan of dance, music, and cinema, watch as all three media collide in ‘Dance’ by the Lucinda Childs Dance Company in New York University Abu Dhabi’s Red Theater to kick off what’s going to a be an unforgettable 2018-2019 arts calendar.
If the name sounds familiar, the Lucinda Childs Dance Company made their UAE debut in 2017 to help mark the opening of The Louvre Abu Dhabi. Those who missed out have another chance to see them with the regional debut of their breakthrough multi-media production Dance in NYUAD’s Red Theatre on 5-6 September. Choreographed by veteran choreographer Lucinda Childs with music composed by Philip Glass, 11 dancers will perform with Sol Le Witt’s 1979 film of the original performance serving as the visual backdrop.
