Cultural Foundation unveils wonderful new programme

World music, dance, theatrical events and children’s performances will take place between September and December

Do you want to be entertained?

From a world-class flamenco show to a Cinderella ballet and a variety of engaging theatrical performances, Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi, are here to entertain you for the remaining months of the year.

The shows have been organised by Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and promises a line-up of captivating programmes up until the turn of the year.

There are a host of wonderdul shows taking place over the coming months including Mayadir, a play by Umm Al Quwain National Theatre; Spanish singer Buika will perform an enthralling fusion of flamenco, Spanish Copla, Jazz and Soul for her GCC debut; Cinderella, featuring an immersive score by the legendary composer Sergei Prokofiev; Authentic Flamenco by Paula Rodríguez; a Bear Hunt, brought by Sally Cookson; Crossbones Trombones will provide a night classical music, jazz, film and pop. Cultural Foundation concludes its 2023 programme with a festive season special: Dear Santa on Sunday on 10 December.

The Cultural Foundation continues to enrich Abu Dhabi’s cultural scene with remarkable programmes and exhibitions. The last months of 2023 will feature an array of astounding performances that will surely captivate audiences and cater to a variety of interests and ages.

If that wasn’t enough, a public programme of activities related to Cultural Foundation’s current exhibitions – Pascale Marthine Tayou’s LOBI LOBI and BOBO LAND, and Comic Craze Vol. 3 – continue to run until the end of the year, featuring curator tours, offsite trips, workshops and more.

 

 

In addition, the Abu Dhabi Children’s Library will continue to host a wide range of daily programmes too featuring activities spanning early childhood development, reading, and writing, arts and crafts, and exploration and innovation in its learning and play spaces.

Furthermore, the ongoing monthly creative workshops and courses for adults and children at Cultural Foundation’s Bait Al Khatt, Al Marsam Al Hor and Children’s Art Centre art studios offer the chance to discover new hobbies or develop skills in drawing, painting, sculpturing, pottery, fashion design, sewing, and Arabic calligraphy.
