Savour a taste of Naples in the company of maestro pizzaiolo Errico Porzio at SOLE Ristorante

SOLE also debuts its new wood fire burning oven and menu.

Pizza connoisseurs are in for a special treat this week at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers as world-famous Errico Porzio comes to SOLE Ristorante.

Joining Chef Simone DeVivo and his team, the event will see the launch of SOLE’s new wood burning pizza oven and menu.

Tossing the dough from 16 to 20 May, Chef Errico will be brining all his famous maneuvers of preparing pizza to chic Italian restaurant as well as all the experience he has garnered since he began serving up sumptuous slices from the age of 13.

Offering tastes of Naples, you can expect to sample some delicious slices of what Neapolitans call ‘a pizz’ from the newly curated menu.

Begin with tempting delights like Mergellini, laden with San Marzano Tomatoes, Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, 24-month-old Parmesan and basil;  Rione Sanità  with yellow Pacchetelle tomatoes, and  veal sausage crumble, eggplant funghetto style and smoked Scamorza cheese; and, among others, Piazza  Plebiscito topped with tender beef cheeks onion ragu’ that has been cooked for no less than six hours and Bocconcini Mozzarella.

Up next is the main event, ‘A Pizz’, where the Gourment Corner section of the menu dishes such mouthwatering offerings like Colliaminei topped with Buffalo Mozzarella cheese, taleggio Cheese, roasted walnuts, black seasonal truffle, and 24-month-old Parmesan; Quartieri Spagnoli topped with tomatoes San Marzano, Spanish Nardin anchovies, black Olives, taggiasche, bluFin balfego tuna and dried oregano; and Marechiaro with Corbarino tomatoes, 400 grams of fresh Mediterranean lobster, smoked bottarga, and basil pesto.

Chef Errico will be at SOLE between 12.30pm and 3pm and 7pm and 11pm.
