Architecture is at the centre of NYUAD Art Gallery’s latest exhibition

The exhibition by artist and NYUAD Co-Program Head of Art and Art History, Sandra Peters, is now open.

Head to The Project Space at the NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) Art Gallery for their latest exhibition titled Performing the City.

Created by artist and NYUAD Co-Program Head of Art and Art History, Sandra Peters, the exhibition is now open and will run until 12 March. You can catch the show from Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm – 8pm.

The exhibition serves as a platform for the interim presentation of a planned temporary outdoor sculptural installation with the working title City Center / Nomadic Monads. You can spot photographs, texts, and material samples relating to the project and the apparatus that addresses the relationship between architecture and public space in the UAE.

As for Professor Sandra Peters, she’s worked extensively across Europe, the US, and the UAE. Some of her notable projects include Un-folded Cube (landscape mode) at FOYER-LA (2023); Pandora’s Box at The NYUAD Project Space (2016); Bilateral, Diagonal, Cubical at the Gallery Aanant & Zoo, Berlin (2012) and many more!

The Project Space is a non-commercial gallery dedicated to Abu Dhabi community projects, with exhibitions from within the academic and regional community, experimental projects, and regional emerging artists prioritised.

With most shows offering free entry (including this one!), there’s no reason to miss it.
