Coming at the opportune time of the 52nd UAE National Day, Hekayah | The Story brings the UAE capital the feeling of home through the magic of arts and culture.
Join a lineup of poets, spoken word artists, musicians, and storytellers from diverse backgrounds coming together to explore their heritages and cultures for the 9th annual Hekayah | The Story at the Arts Centre at NYUAD.

Led by emcee Reem Almenhali, the memorable evening is full of performances designed to showcase the beautiful diversity of the UAE.
This year, the lineup includes Basma Choir – Music, Gregory Pardlo – Spoken word poetry (USA), Jad Al Kareem Tatou – Music (Syria), Rand Abdul Jabbar – Video & Performative Reading (Canada), Rasha Alduwaisan – Spoken word poetry (Kuwait), Rawad Raidan – Spoken word poetry (Lebanon), Samar Abdel Jaber & Ali Zain – Spoken word poetry (Palestine) and so many more wonderful artists!
