First edition of the championship set for 5-6 May at Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi
A thrilling, high-energy event is about to make waves in UAE capital, and it’s guaranteed to get watersports fans’ adrenaline pumping.
The first-ever UAE Cable Wakeboard Championship 2023 is happening on Friday and Saturday, 5-6 May, at Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi, featuring some of the best wakeboarders in the country showcasing their gravity-defying stunts and impressive skills.
Participants will vie in five categories: Juniors (8-14 years old), Juniors + (15-17 years old), Pro Men, Masters (30 years old and above) and Open Women (30 years old and above).
Practice runs will be held on Friday, while the championship competitions will be on Saturday.

The first edition of the UAE Cable Wakeboard Championship is part of Abu Dhabi’s expanding list of sports competitions and events catering to a wide spectrum of the sporting community.
