
The ‘First Steps’ walking challenge continues in the capital up until 31 March
Abu Dhabi residents have been challenged to walk at least 6,000 steps per day in a campaign which was launched by Active Abu Dhabi initiative recently.
Entitled ‘First Steps’, the daily health challenge is being held in alongside Emirates Foundation and PureHealth.
Everyone is being urged to get involved and join the challenge. It doesn’t matter what your fitness levels are, its about getting out and getting active and improving your fitness goals.

Umm Al Emarat Park in the city will provide the backdrop for the on-going 14-day event which runs through to 31 March. The challenge is open from 4pm to 11pm daily.
The challenge is also a wonderful opportunity to take in the magnificent surroundings of the park in ABD Dhabu, where 3,000 steps out of the 6,000 steps acquired are part of their walking route.
