Cristiano Ronaldo to Abu Dhabi

Regional football stars Salem Al Dawsari and Abderrazak Hamdallah will also play

Look who’s back! Well, next month at least!

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return to Abu Dhabi next month when the UAE capital hosts the Saudi Super Cup from 8 to 11 April.

The tournament will be hosted at two of Abu Dhabi’s football stadiums and it will be the very first time that the prestigious Saudi Super Cup, part of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), will be hosted in the wider Middle East beyond the borders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

And that sounds like a goal to us!

The much-awaited tournament will welcome two football legends, Cristiano Rolando and Karim Benzema, along with Salem Al Dawsari and Abderrazak Hamdallah.

The tournament comprises three matches and welcome Al Ittihad and Al Wahda FC at Al-Nahyan Stadium, Al Nassr FC and Al Hilal SFC to be held at Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium, 8–11 April.⁣

Winners go face to face on 11 April so see you in the stands!

The hosting of this prestigious tournament further strengthens Abu Dhabi’s positioning as a sporting city.
