Running from 24 March to 18 April, here is the ultimate chance to show off your karting skills. Starting 24 March all the way till 18 April, the Ramadan Karting Competition is open for all above the age of 12.

Racing daily from 9pm to 10pm, the final outcome and winners will be determined on the basis of the best lap (below 85kgs will have ballast). The quarter-finals (10 April), semi-finals (17 April), and finals (19th April) will then subsequently have the crowning champion emerge.

The 1.2km CIK-approved professional circuit, is designed such that it could host future world championships. So you can be sure these races will make for a challenging and exhilarating experience. All while being as safe as any karting circuit in the world can be, of course!

An Extravagant Iftar

Al Forsan International Sports Resort

There are few things in the world that can make a long day of fasting during the Holy Month of Ramadan better. Your loved ones and a delectable Iftar spread at Como Restaurant are just that.

Take a breather from all the action at Al Forsan International Sports Resort, and tuck into a feast daily from 7pm to 9pm. The all-day café style dining restaurant, while generally known for serving fine northern Italian cuisine, will now revamp its menu to serve the finest traditional delicacies.

Located at the heart of the resort, savour endless treats off the special menu with a choice of outdoor views overlooking the karting racetrack. So what can you expect on the menu? An array of Arabic cold mezze of course, including but not limited to Hummus, Beetroot Mutabbel, Tabbouleh, Cucumber with mint Yogurt, Stuffed vine leaves and so much more! To keep warm on a chilly evening, you could always try the hot mezze like sambouseks or sample the hearty soups.

Follow it up with sumptuous mains like the Chicken Tajine, Lamb Harris, Beef Stroganoff, Pasta Alfredo, Vegetable Musaka, Kibbeh bil Laban, or the Arabic Mix Grill. Treat yourself to something off the live stations as well, featuring the evergreen Chicken Shawarma with condiments or a Lamb Ouzy with Oriental Rice.

Of course, nothing rounds up a meal better than a selection of amazing desserts. Opt for the Cheesecakes and Crème Brûlée, or go the classic Ramadan route with some good old heartwarming Kunafa, Umm Ali, or Logaimat to name a few.

As you relax into the evening, allow yourself to take in the views as the talented oud player serenades you. Talk about an epic Iftar celebration.
