The Emirates Skills National Competition is a national event in the UAE that highlights the skills and innovation of young Emiratis in various technical and vocational fields. Running from 14-16 April this year, it will be held in ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
Organised by ACTVET (Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training) and held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi, this event aims to promote excellence and practical skills that are aligned with international industry standards. Participants are usually students and young professionals from across the UAE, that celebrates talent like Construction and Building Technology, Manufacturing and Engineering Technology, Transportation and Logistics, Creative Arts and Fashion, among others.
The Emirates Skills National Competition encourages companies, educators and experts to contribute to the success of the event by mentoring the younger generation who are interested and talented in these fields. It also helps build a skilled national workforce that aligns with the country’s long-term economic plans.
Qualified participants must be UAE National students typically aged 16 to 21 that must be nominated by their schools or universities. To register your representative, log in to ACTVET registration portal.
