Continuing to celebrate heritage and culture in Abu Dhabi the second edition of Liwa Date Festival and Auction will be held from 21 to 30 September in Liwa City, Al Dhafra Region, in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The festival is designed to celebrate the date harvest season showcasing the palm tree and its products. The event honours the national fruit and will provide the opportunity for producers to make the most of the industry.

There will be a Guest of Honour at proceedings as the Hashmite Kingdom of Jordan will be in attendance cementing the respectful relationship between the two countries. There will also be a festival village created featuring Emirati crafts and live traditional performances too.
