All based in the capital, they made it to the MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants List in 2023!
It was a big night for the best and brightest of the culinary world in the MENA region.
For the second time, Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers hosted the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants awards, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.
Restaurants from across 14 cities within the Middle East and North Africa were announced as the 50 best places to eat in the region.
And while quite a few restaurants from Dubai snagged up top spots, a few from the capital have made it to the top 50 as well!
Having recently been awarded a Michelin Star in their Abu Dhabi debut, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi has also won the 49th spot in MENA’s best of the best. Founded in 2001, Hakkasan celebrates Chinese cuisine through traditional techniques, the finest ingredients and contemporary flair.
With international outposts in some of the world’s most vibrant cities, their menu is a culinary balance of signature dishes available at all locations with a region-specific twist.

Next up is Zuma Abu Dhabi, which managed to secure the 43rd spot on the prestigious list. Located at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, the restaurant offers a flavourful twist on signature Japanese dining in the heart of the capital’s luxurious new retail and commerce centre. Straight from the robata grill to your plate, the accompanying waterfront views just tie it all together.
And finally, COYA Abu Dhabi came in at No. 33, just five spots behind its Dubai counterpart. Known for bringing the essence of Peru to the UAE, the restaurant goes above and beyond to provide an immersive experience inspired by the vibrant Latin American culture.
From the art on the walls to the tribal beats of COYA Music, there’s always something special going on at the place that makes for a multi-sensory journey from the moment you walk in.
