Cala 399 is bringing the party back to Abu Dhabi’s legendary Blue Marlin site

Ollie Daze is taking over the events residency at the former site in Ghantoot, with the brand bringing its signature mix of music, food, wellness, sport and outdoor experiences to the coastline.
The news comes as Cala 399 prepares to open at the well-known beachside location this November, giving the former Blue Marlin site a brand-new chapter.
For anyone who remembers what used to go down on this particular stretch of sand, the announcement is likely to get your attention.
The former Blue Marlin site became one of the UAE’s best-known beach party destinations, with big-name DJs, long afternoons by the water and nights that were rarely quite as relaxed as they started.
Now, Ollie Daze is stepping into the space for a new era.
While the full details are still under wraps, Ollie Daze says the new destination will centre around the things it does best: music, food, nature, sport, wellbeing and plenty of time spent outdoors.
Founded in 2015, Ollie Daze has built a community around what it describes as adventurous, meaningful and life-indulging experiences, with more than 300 events across the UAE and Lebanon.
Its approach is about more than simply putting on a party. The community brings together people who share an interest in activities, wellbeing, food, music and nature, essentially making a day out of doing the things you actually enjoy.
The move into Cala 399 marks a new chapter for both Ollie Daze and the much-loved Ghantoot site.
With its beachfront setting, easy access from both emirates and a location already associated with some serious DJ history, expectations will be high.
Cala 399 is due to open in November, with more details on the venue, opening events and upcoming programming expected soon.
