Nobody likes receiving a parking fine, but if you do get that unwelcome message and then pay it within 60 days of the fine issuance date, you’ll receive a massive 25 per cent discount of your parking fine in Abu Dhabi, says the emirate’s public transport authority, Integrated Transport Centre (ITC)., which sounds great to us.

How to pay your parking fine in Abu Dhabi
Managed by ITC, The parking system in Abu Dhabi is called Mawaqif and there is a very useful app, called DARB, that is easy to navigate. Not only can you pay fines through the app, but it also allows you to pay for parking and the emirate’s public toll gate system.
Here’s what to do:
Download the Darb app from either Apple App Store or Google Play
Open the app and sign in with your UAE Pass
Tap on Fines on the menu bar at the bottom of your mobile screen and tap on ‘Mawaqif’.
Wait for the app to detect the fines linked to your vehicle and Emirates ID.
Select the violation and pay with your credit or debit card
It’s that simple, folks. And don’t forget, pay your parking fine in Abu Dhabi within 60 days of getting the fine, and you’ll be eleoigble for 25 per cent off!
