Aquaman star replaces Kevin Hart for the ‘ridiculously awesome job’
Aquaman is holding office in Abu Dhabi and it looks like the superhero is loving his “ridiculously awesome job”!
Hollywood star Jason Momoa has been named as Yas Island Abu Dhabi’s new Chief Island Officer. He replacles comedian Kevin Hart, who stepped down from the role earlier this year.
“Our new Chief Island Officer is finally here! Say aloha to Jason Momoa and get ready to #LiveItUpLikeMomoa,” read a social media post by Yas Island announcing Momoa’s new role.
A new teaser video has also been released where the Aquaman star is shown paddle boarding towards Yas Island. The video also shows him visiting and having fun at Yas Island’s top attractions – taking a plunge at Yas Waterworld, enjoying the thrill at Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, getting wild on a roller-coaster ride at Ferrari World and burning rubber at Yas Marina Circuit.

“There comes a time when you discover your calling, when you realise your destiny and you know your whole life has led to this one ridiculously awesome job,” Momoa says in the video.
“They made me Chief Island Officer of Yas Island Abu Dhabi, so now I’m making sure everyone lives it up like me – Jason Momoa. I am going to love this job!”
