GRAND OPENING: SeaWorld Yas Island opens to the public

The park is also home to Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Yas Island

Exciting news!

Those wishing to explore the wonders of the deep, blue oceans will be able to do so in-depth when on 23 May 2023 the incredible SeaWorld Abu Dhabi in Yas Island will open its doors to the public for the very first time.

Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences, recently made the announcement on their social feeds.

Visitors can expect to dive into the wonders of no less than eight realms across five indoor levels spanning an area of approximately 183,000m2. 

The Endless Ocean realm is set to be home to the world’s largest and most expansive multi-species aquarium.

The dynamic habitat will be home to more than 68,000 marine animals, including sharks, schools of fish, manta rays and sea turtles.

In total, there will be over 100,000 marine animals including 150 species of birds, fish, mammals and reptiles within each realm of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi have been custom designed using state-of-the-art technology and the highest standards for animal welfare.

Expect thrilling up-close encounters, rides galore, a sleuth of exciting entertainment, not to mention access to dining and shopopportunities to boot!

Adjacent to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, the park is home to Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Yas Island.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is a collaboration between Miral and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.
