Standing an impressive 179.7 metres above ground level, it has now been recognised as the highest running track on a building in the world.

Located high above the city streets, the rooftop track offers runners something few fitness enthusiasts can claim: panoramic views of Abu Dhabi’s skyline while clocking up their kilometres.
This record-breaking track combines exercise with some of the best views in the city, creating a unique urban fitness experience that is about as far removed from a standard treadmill session as you can get.
The track was developed as part of wider efforts to encourage healthier lifestyles and create more wellness-focused spaces within residential and commercial developments.
And while the world record is certainly impressive, it’s also another example of Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation for thinking big when it comes to architecture, lifestyle experiences and innovative developments.
