Abu Dhabi has ranked in the top ten for elite worldwide winter sun destinations in a survey which was conducted by Travelbag recently.
The summer months may be unrelenting with soaring temperatures but now that its cooling down Abu Dhabi is about to come alive with outdoor activities for residents. The city will also look forward to increased numbers of tourists with the weather being more favourable.
The average temperature over the winter months is a cool 25C which is perfect for a trip to the beach, a lay about by the pool, outdoor dining or a visit to the many outdoor parks and nature reserves dotted throughout the city.
Abu Dhabi came in seventh place in the survey with Santiago in Chile claiming top honours. Other cities to feature on the list included Cape Town, neighbours Dubai, Siem Reap and Doha.
