There’s going to be three days of fireworks to celebrate Eid in Abu Dhabi

It’s just over a week till the holiday and the sky is just waiting to burst with colour.

You can’t deny that Ramadan has been different this year, but families across the world have stuck together and experienced a closer time than previous years.

Now, Eid al-Fitr is almost upon us and many here in the capital and across the UAE are making plans to celebrate.

But the burning question is – will there be fireworks lighting up the night sky in Abu Dhabi, bringing joy to thousands across the emirate?

The answer you are all waiting to hear is YES there will be.

The first one we have heard about will fill the sky in celebration on Yas island.

Tweeted by AD Media office, Yas Island, with the support of the Department of Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT – Abu Dhabi), there will be a three-day extravaganza firework show to mark the beautiful occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

 

 

The spectacular event commences at 9pm.

Sadly, no gatherings will be allowed due to the situation but that doesn’t mean you can’t join in the celebrations.

You’ll be able to catch the shows live as they stream on Yas Island’s Instagram page at 9pm each night.
