Top-notch Korean hologram art performance will be opening the Korea Festival 2017. The holographic imagery and dancers of the performance will embody the harmony and friendly relationship between Korea and the UAE, the countries that are hubs of culture and economy in each region.
Lights representing Korea and the UAE that seemed to be too far to each other start to wriggle and flow with melodies to be interfused. At the end, the two lights wave in harmony, and together they become more beautiful scatters of light of bright future.
Darkness Poomba- is a modern dance performance, a re-interpretation of a type of Korean traditional performing arts called “Poomba”. People’s deep down emotions of sorrow and grief, which is often called ‘Han’ in Korea, are expressed with the dance and music.
Using the basic melody of ‘Poomba’, dynamic and powerful movements of male dancers along with the live band consisted of guitar, bass, drums, topped with Korean traditional vocal genre ‘Pansori’, show a unique Korean emotions with modern features.
