
If you’re looking for a new place to explore, Etihad Airways just added a destination to their repertoire
The Abu Dhabi-based airline has just announced that it will start flying to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
The new seasonal service will depart from Zayed International Airport four times a week, running from 26 June until 24 October 2026.
Operated by Etihad’s Boeing 777 aircraft, the service will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 10pm, arriving in Dhaka at 04.50am the next day.

Coming back from Dhaka, services depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 9.35pm, arriving back in Abu Dhabi just after midnight, at 12.40am.

The new flight will be super handy for the Bangladeshi community in the UAE, which is one of the biggest in the world. It will also help connect other Bangladeshi communities around the world to their home country, across countries like United Kingdom and Italy.
Speaking of the new route, Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “Dhaka is a strategically important market, with strong and sustained demand across both passenger and cargo segments. This service allows us to deploy capacity where it is most needed, strengthening links between Bangladesh, the UAE and key global markets.
