Here’s what we know so far
We’re just now entering the busiest season of the year, but 2026 is already wanting to make its mark with a brand new festival.
Sunburn, India’s biggest EDM party, is officially coming to Abu Dhabi next year, bringing huge stages and world-class DJs to the capital.
What makes it even more special is that the festival will be held in India and the UAE at the same time, making it a huge musical moment across Asia and the Middle East.
While exact dates have not been announced, the festival will happen in December 2026.

So you can get an idea of what to expect, this year’s Sunburn in Mumbai has David Guetta as the headliner, and previous performers include DJ Snake, Swedish House Mafia and Martin Garrix –so we can expect big names in the capital next year.
The festival is being brought to the UAE in collaboration with BookMyShow and Ethara, which is also responsible for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Ethara’s Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer, David Powell, said: “Abu Dhabi is an established beacon for global live entertainment, and we look forward to bringing the Sunburn Festival to the city.
