Beginning 20 September 2025, the brand-new Astor’s Brunch at The Terrace on the Corniche is bringing the elegance of New York’s Gilded Age into the heart of the capital.
Inspired by the legendary gatherings of the Astor family, renowned arbiters of taste and hospitality, this weekly celebration invites guests to linger over an afternoon that is as much performance as it is repast.
The experience begins in style, with guests welcomed with sparkling pin grape, signature mixed drinks, and delicate caviar blinis – an opening note worthy of Caroline Astor herself.
The atmosphere is set by the strains of live jazz, evoking the spirit of soirées where refinement and conviviality went hand in hand.
From there, the feast unfolds as a culinary journey across continents.
A generous spread of artisanal cheeses and charcuterie from seven nations paves the way for live stations where chefs perform their craft with flourish – fired barbecue and tandoori delicacies, handmade pastas, delicate dim sum, and seafood fresh from the market.
The experience crescendos in a spectacular finale of desserts, with a live pastry station creating confections as beautiful as they are indulgent.
But Astor’s Brunch is not confined to the table. The celebration spills outward with touches that surprise and delight: a Zodiac Trolley rolling through the room with mixed drinks inspired by the constellations, and Vitamin House offering revitalizing elixirs for those who prefer their indulgence with a wellness twist.
Guests can further tailor their afternoon with three bespoke packages – Soft, Italian Bubbly, or French Bubbly – each designed to complement the pace of leisure.
