Have your say: EAD launches community survey on plastic use

Ead community survey

EAD is calling on residents to share their views on single-use plastics

The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) is calling on residents to take part in an important new survey that could shape the future of plastic use in the emirate.

Running from 1 September to 12 October 2025, the community survey is designed to gather insights into how people across Abu Dhabi understand, feel about, and are preparing to move away from single-use plastics in favour of reusable alternatives.

As part of EAD’s wider Abu Dhabi Single-Use Plastic Policy, this initiative reflects a continued commitment to engage the community in building a cleaner, more sustainable future.

The data collected will help EAD identify the key challenges individuals face when making eco-friendly choices, as well as the motivators that inspire lasting change.

The results of the survey will directly influence future awareness campaigns, outreach programmes, and policy enhancements, ensuring the transition to reusable products is effective, inclusive, and community-driven.

By participating, you’re not just sharing your opinion, you’re helping to shape the next chapter of Abu Dhabi’s environmental journey.
