The museum wants the UAE community to help name two of its biggest stars

Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi has launched its ‘Write Their Name into History’ campaign, inviting students, families and the wider UAE community to come up with names for two of the museum’s most impressive residents.
And we’re not talking about a couple of small exhibits tucked away in a corner. One is a gigantic 25-metre blue whale skeleton, while the other is the dinosaur everyone knows and loves: a Tyrannosaurus rex.
Basically, Abu Dhabi is handing you the naming rights to two seriously prehistoric VIPs.
The campaign is all about coming up with names that are creative, meaningful and connected to the UAE’s culture and heritage.
So whether you have a brilliant Arabic name in mind, something inspired by nature, or a completely unexpected idea that somehow feels perfect for a giant whale or fearsome T. rex, this is your moment.
It is also a pretty cool way to get younger visitors involved. Students and families can put their imaginations to work and become part of the story of one of Abu Dhabi’s newest cultural attractions.
