Travellers flying to or from the UAE are advised to check their flight status, as escalating tensions between Israel and Iran have led to widespread disruptions across the region.
Several airlines, including Etihad, Emirates, flydubai, Air India, and Lufthansa, have cancelled, rerouted, or delayed flights due to airspace closures over Iran, Israel, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria.
Among the changes:
Etihad Airways has cancelled all flights to and from Tel Aviv.
Emirates has suspended flights to Baghdad, Basra, Tehran, Beirut, and Amman.
flydubai has suspended multiple regional routes, including services to Beirut, Damascus, Amman, Iran, and Israel.
Some flights have been diverted mid-air, including an Air India service rerouted to Sharjah and an Emirates flight sent to Istanbul.
