Get ready for a sugar-filled adventure! Yas Mall is bringing the Emirati tradition of Hag Al Laila to life on Friday, 14 February, with an exciting, family-friendly celebration packed with treats and fun.
From midday to midnight, children aged 12 and under can dress up in Emirati traditional attire, solve riddles, and collect sweet surprises from over 26 participating stores – all for free!

Hag Al Laila is a beloved tradition where children, dressed in their finest, go from home-to-home filling their colourful woven bags with sweets.
This year, Yas Mall is recreating the magic with a modern twist.
How to join the fun:
- Head to Air Maniax (Ground Floor) on 14 February to register.
- Grab a welcome pack with a riddle guide—solve them to uncover which stores have the treats!
- Visit the stores, collect your goodies, and enjoy a sweet day out with family.
Participating brands include Air Maniax, Miniso, BOO Burger, Patchi, Decathlon, The Giving Movement, New Balance, Beverly Specialty Coffee, and many more.
Important to know:
- Entry is free, but welcome packs are limited – first come, first served!
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for a safe and fun experience.
