Emirates Red Crescent is behind the launch
The first day of Ramadan has arrived in the UAE and as we all know, among may other aspects, it is a time of giving back to the community.
And in light of the latter, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority has launched a Ramadan campaign titled, “Ramadan Continuous Giving”.
The aim of the campaign is to provide humanitarian aid to those who need it, and the initial value is already set at AED 37 million.
The Emirates Red Crescent Authority is now urging members of the community to participate in charity programmes of authority.
The launch comes when the UAE announces that Monday 11 March is the first day of Ramadan across the Emirates.

Ramadan is a time when the faithful fast from dawn, just after Suhoor, until sunset, which is when those fasting break their fast with Iftar.
Many of the hotels and restaurants across the UAE are offering magnificent Iftars, with the first ones to take place today, Monday 11 March.
Ramadan is also a time in the UAE when authorities reduce working hours for both the public and private sectors.
And Abu Dhabi Police has rolled out a slew of new traffic rules that will be enforced for the entire month of Ramadan.
