It’s a long weekend for all with New Year’s Day public holiday confirmed for government employees
Time for celebrations, there’s another long weekend on the cards for UAE!
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has declared Monday, 1 January 2024, as an official New Year holiday for federal government entities.
So for those working five-day weeks, that’s an official holiday from 30 December 2023 to 1 January 2024.

A circular issued on Thursday added that work will resume on Tuesday, 2 January.
