With Dubai confirming that have now pulled back, the path is clear for Abu Dhabi to become the front runner in gambling race
What are the odds of this happening, I wonder?
Those of you who like a flutter from time to time will be happy to know that Abu Dhabi are pushing ahead with their plans to construct a casino and gaming facility in the Emirate.
In a move that will make history, many different locations have been touted including plots on Yas Island which has fast become the major tourism hub in the capital and surroundings areas.
The news was reported by Bloomberg this week that Dubai has put similar plans on hold for the time being and instead may look to introduce a poker series instead.

Located 45 minutes north of Dubai, plans are even further advanced in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah where Las Vegas based Wynn Resorts are set to open a $3.9 billion complex some time in 2027.
Hopes are high that once these potential developments have taken place in the UAE that the gambling industry will entice even more tourists to the country and in turn increase revenue turned over by the respective Governments.
Tourism in Abu Dhabi and Dubai has been booming in the post-pandemic era, and it is thought that the inclusion of casinos will elevate the cities’ reputation as one of the best global destinations throughout the world.
