This is a unique experience for both the young musicians and the Abu Dhabi public to show a strong commitment to Abu Dhabi as a UNESCO creative city of music
For its second concert in the capital, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, one of today’s leading international orchestras, will be joined by the Abu Dhabi Youth Orchestra and Choir for a special event at Emirates Palace this Saturday, 4 November.
Destined to a young public and to those young at heart, the concert will feature a selection of popular classical music pieces including dance rhythms and ballet music.
With celebrated Canadian-American violinist Timothy Chooi, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will play one of the most virtuosi pieces of the classical repertoire: Bruch’s violin concerto from 1868, that remains today the probably most known and celebrated violin concerto worldwide.
For selected pieces, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will also team up with Abu Dhabi’s Youth Orchestra and Choir, thus giving local young musicians a unique opportunity to perform on stage at the highest possible artistic level.
This is a unique experience for both the young musicians and the Abu Dhabi public and a strong commitment to Abu Dhabi as a UNESCO creative city of music.
